Orange Shirt Day

September 30th has been declared Orange Shirt Day annually, in recognition of the harm the residential school system did to children's sense of
self-esteem and well being, and as an affirmation of our commitment to ensure that everyone around us matters.

St. Elias Eagles SOAR!
Picture
Members of our school's clubs and teams are all Eagles.

Eagles act as role models for younger students.
When they visit other communities, our whole student body is judged
by their behavior.
They are ambassadors for our school and our community.

Conduct Expectations

St. Elias Community School prides itself in the number
of activities available
to students outside
school hours.

Teachers and other community members volunteer their time
to teach skills and develop the character of our young people in a fun setting.

Properly done these experiences reward the participants, their leaders and the community of Haines Junction.
